Kelly Briggs President & CEO

Kelly has been with Fairmount for 44 years. He started in 1975 as a mechanic, repairing vehicles and heavy equipment. He then worked as a member of the interment crew and later became the Cemetery Manager. In 1995, Kelly was promoted to Vice President and later the President/CEO in 2004. Kelly’s job is to empower every member of the Fairmount staff to provide caring and compassionate funeral, cemetery and cremation services to the communities Fairmount serves and to ensure that each family celebrates the life of their loved one with honor, dignity and respect. You can often find Kelly outside as he deeply appreciates that Fairmount is a silent city of peace surrounded by natural beauty.

Kendra Briggs Vice President

Kendra has been with Fairmount since 1998. She began as a Funeral Director and in 2012 became the Vice President of Operations and Customer Service. Kendra monitors Fairmount’s operations to ensure efficiency and to provide the absolute best customer service to the families that entrust Fairmount. She also analyzes data and trends to better understand the changing needs of the families Fairmount serves. Kendra loves the fact that Fairmount remains dedicated to carrying out the founding families’ original vision and to provide a beautiful resting place for Colorado residents.

Andy Zavilla Vice President

Andy began his career at Fairmount more than 34 years ago. Starting his career from the ground up, Andy spent time learning every facet of cemetery operations including irrigation, new development, plot design, and finance. He oversees the protection of Fairmount’s water and natural resources as one of Colorado’s most beautiful and historic arboretums. He also helps to ensure the sustainability and preservation of Fairmount so that families will have a dignified and peaceful experience both today and in the future. Andy has been the Vice President of the Board of Directors since 2006.

Onda Estep Director of Operations

Onda graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 2004 and became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 2005. She moved to Colorado and joined the Fairmount family in 2013 as a Family Care Provider. In 2015, Onda became the Director of Events of Quebec Place at Fairmount Event Center. In 2018, she became Director of Operations overseeing both Fairmount Funeral Home and Quebec Place. Onda loves the story and history of Fairmount.

Bob Smith Director of Sales and Marketing

Bob has been with Fairmount for 6 years now. He started off as a Family Service Counselor and enjoys helping and serving our Fairmount families.  He is honored to be a part of a team of people that strive each day, to do their best to take care of families.  He also enjoys being able to work at one of the most beautiful, peaceful places in Colorado.

Michael Long Director of Business Development

Michael graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mortuary Science in 2000, and became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He began his career in Funeral Service in 1997 in Oklahoma City, and moved to Colorado. Michael joined the Fairmount Family in 2013 as Director of Business Development. He loves sharing the history and heritage of Fairmount with the community, and being a compassionate resource to families in their time of need.

Crystal Langton Funeral Home Manager

Crystal graduated from the Mortuary Science program at Arapahoe Community College in 2013. She joined the Fairmount Family in 2013 as a Family Care Provider/Funeral Director. In 2018, she became the Lead Family Care Provider for the Fairmount Funeral Home. Crystal loves the sense of community and family that Fairmount has to offer.

Dave Rodgers Director of Mortuary Operations

I have worked for Fairmount Mortuary for 17 years now and also worked for the cemetery for a total of 6 years, 5 on the interment crew and 1 year at the monument shop. I have been an embalmer for 23 years now and have been a Certified Embalming Technician since 2001. What I like most about working for Fairmount is being a part of a team that strives for excellence and working at the most beautiful cemetery in Colorado.

John Touris Grounds Manager

John has been with Fairmount for 39 years. He started working on the mowing crew, then moved to the Maintenance Shop where he worked as a mechanic. He also worked on the foundation crew and interment crew. He was promoted to the Grounds Manager in 2014. John oversees all the daily operations of the grounds. He ensures that all funeral services are conducted with respect for the deceased and their family.

Joe Walters Mausoleum Manager

Started at Riverside Cemetery June 1978 seasonal summer, mostly mowing. After graduating high school returned in June 1979 full time, was on irrigation crew, did interments, painted office, chapel and crematory. Helped upgrade the greenhouse removing glass and installing new roof. In August 1981, transferred to Fairmount Mausoleum, doing building maintenance, entombments, inurnments, arranged and delivered flowers and in October 1988 became the Mausoleum Manager. I try to do right for all families.

John has been with Fairmount since 2017.  He began his career in Funeral Service in 1999. In that time, he has helped thousands of families in roles from funeral director to general manager. John loves that Fairmount is committed to offering the very best service possible to the families we are fortunate enough to serve.

Serena Perry Family Care Provider

Serena Perry is a recent graduate from mortuary school has been a part of the Fairmount family since 2018. She started here as a part time Funeral Director and is now a member of our Family Care Provider team. Serena is dedicated to every family that she serves here at Fairmount and is the open arms that will be there to guide and support families through this difficult time.

Cessly Hotard Family Care Provider

Cessly Hotard has been a part of the Fairmount Family for the past 5 years. She started her career here as a part time employee running death certificates for the funeral home. Through her hard work and dedication to the families she serves, she is now a full time Family Care Provider. During a family’s hardest time, Cessly will often be the friendly face at services to assist in any way possible.

Dany Truesdale Family Care Provider

Since 2010, Dany has been serving Denver and the surrounding communities, with excellence and innovation. She enjoys working with families to make the final rite of passage a beautiful and meaningful experience. She is currently serving as the Vice President of the Denver Funeral Directors Association. Dany is a Denver native, who in her free time enjoys spending time with her son, daughter, close knit family and her dog.

Adaline Lang Lead Service Director

Adaline Lang is newer to the Fairmount Family. She brings great enthusiasm and potential to the team. Her hard work and dedication is  shown every day with each family that walks in. She can be found either in the cemetery or in the funeral home learning all that Fairmount has to offer. Adaline’s role at Fairmount is a full time Lead Service Director along with many other important responsibilities.

I have happily been with Fairmount Mausoleum since 2017.  I help with funeral services as well as maintaining the building. I also enjoy delivering flowers for the Mausoleum as well as outside on the grounds. I am very grateful to be able to work in such a beautiful building every day.

My journey at Fairmount Cemetery started when I was just fifteen years old. I would volunteer at the Mausoleum during holidays to place flowers for families. In 2016, I found the Mausoleum in need of a receptionist so I happily inquired. I spend my time at Fairmount taking flower orders for our customer's families. I also express my creativity filling those desired flower orders. I am eager to help anyone that enters our doors.

Chelsea began her career in 2012 and joined the Fairmount family in 2019. As a Denver native, she grew up around Fairmount and it’s beautiful grounds; something that she still enjoys today. As the Operation Support Specialist, she is able to tangentially serve the community and our families with compassionate care for all.

Diane Kandt Concierge

Diane is a Denver native and Fairmount has always been a very special place to her; at present she has 26 family members and many friends and acquaintances who are resting at Fairmount.  Diane is a lover of nature and wildlife and says, "Where else can I go in the middle of the city and be in such beauty and nature and find such peace." Diane was involved in land development and home building and came to us in early 2009. Diane‘s heart is in serving people and cares for everyone who comes in our doors. She says, "Where else can I be that I can love people all day long.... this is my calling."

Elizabeth joined the Fairmount family in 2010 as Accounts Payable Clerk and worked her way up to becoming Administrative Accountant. Providing the upmost caring customer service and showing her caring, compassionate and understanding work ethics. The Fairmount family is an honor for Elizabeth to be a part of. Coming to work every day and being involved in an industry to help families celebrate the lives of their loved ones is a humbling experience for her.

Rebecca began her career in the funeral industry in 2006. She graduated from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and became a licensed funeral director in 2011. She joined Fairmount in 2019 and enjoys working behind the scenes as Operation Support.

Dennis Smith Family Service Specialist

Dennis grew up just down the hill from Fairmount after his family moved to Denver in 1963. He is a graduate of George Washington High School which is just a few blocks from here, but all the while that he was in this neighborhood, he didn’t know what a treasure Fairmount Cemetery was. He joined the Fairmount family in 2013 and hasn’t looked back. He thrives on serving families who would like to prearrange their final wishes, as well as assisting them after they have lost a loved one.

Hana Kim joined the Fairmount Family in 2016 as part of their Family Service Specialist team. She brings with her an extensive background in Sales and Customer Service by promoting transparent information to her clients. She is dedicated to serving the families of Fairmount with their best interest as a priority. Hana loves the culture, history and the people of Fairmount and anticipates a long career serving families.

Kenneth has been with Fairmount since 2017 and has dedicated himself to helping families. He has an extensive background in customer service in several industries where he has been caringly and compassionately helping people. He is also is a licensed Life Insurance Producer in the state of Colorado. Kenneth loves the peacefulness and beauty that the Fairmount grounds have to offer families. Kenneth takes great pride when showing the grounds and assisting families with finding the services that will perfectly represent and celebrate the life of their loved one.
